Thursday night: weekend!! In order to celebrate me being somewhat free from my pneumonia, I’m thinking – let’s be bold, put on some makeup and hit the town!
Often, easy and high quality makes for the best face, so tonight I will play desert-goddess with golden skin and perfect eyebrow game.

I curse my eyebrows on a daily basis for being thin, irregular, sparse weird and just annoying. It doesn’t exactly help that a perfect, full eyebrow seems to be the only thing to wear these days. In addition, I want fuller brows but I’m all for looking natural. The more (shall we call it) graphic black eyebrows creeps me out.
These two products are life savers when it comes to fixing my shape and ensuring that the colour is blended beautifully. ABH is a new brand to me, we recently got it here in the UAE and I will start by recommending three of my favourite items:
Brow powder duo in shade Chocolate is a small, lightweight compact with a heavy duty product inside. The powder is almost creamy and as it comes in two different shades, you can easily create small strokes that look like hair, but alternate between the shade for a more authentic and realistic finish. I apply this product to my eyebrows by using ABH #14 angled brush. It is super-fine, I’ve never seen such a dense but still fine tip. With this brush it’s easy to create a perfect brow and be precise in your application. The spoolie on the other end is quite hard, but the result makes it worth it. I also own some of these brushes for eyeliner when I want to add a dark powder eyeshadow on top of another eyeliner product. You get to come really close to the lashline with it’s bristles.
And for the face; the product we all love so much! ABH Illuminator in Peach Nectar. This is divine. A highlighter that, with its pigment works all the way down to the apples of my cheeks, blended with a blusher. On me, it makes my skin glow, the tone gets warm but without any shades of orange to it. It shimmers without any glitter, it highlights all my high points in creamy golden-pink-peach. I just need great brows, dark mascara and this, and the whole face look…expensive. That’s the only word that comes to mind. Finely milled, easy to work with, great longevity. With ABH you get what you pay for and it’s always a good choice to invest in a premium brand when it comes to skin-makeup-items. They tend to sit so nicely and blend in with your skin in perfection.
I’m off! Let the weekend begin! ♥
