New Year and a lot of resolutions? Not here, no. I like to think that I’m fairly concentrated on leading a good life all year around, and I can’t help myself for having guilty pleasures!
Some things though, that never slip my daily routine are water, fruit, green tea, reading for the brain and Hyaluronic. Lots of it!
Most mornings look like this, and with Institut Esthederm Intensif hyaluronic serum literally sitting on my desk, I tend to reach for it a couple of times during the morning.
By now, we all might be well aware that the hyaluronic molecule can hold a large amount of water to our skin. We also learned a lot about sourcing for the right size of the molecule to have optimal penetration trough all of the skin’s layers and so it became the teacher’s pet of the year. Nevertheless I’m loving it and with my sometimes severely dehydrated skin I need it.
This light and watery serum holds a patented technology of three forms of Hyaluronic Acid (HA): high molecular weight, low molecular weight and spheres. It allows the serum to immediately restore the water level in all layers of the skin, all the way down to the epidermis deepest layers. HA forms a “gel” to act like a water reservoir, and with that restore the hydrolipidic film in our skin.
Some people claim HA to be one of the best anti-ageing ingredients as it plumps up the skin, targets those fine lines and make you feel very hydrated and comfortable. I have used it since I was 25, no lines then and I believe in prevention rather than cure.
Institut Esthederm Intensif Hyaluronic Serum also holds one of it’s best kept secrets: ATP, Adenosine Triphosphate.
I could write and essay on this vital molecule but there are others who do it better! Introducing Mr. Jerry Bergman, Ph.D and urging you to follow the link for better understanding about ATP. It is a hero which, for some reason never makes the headlines.

Besides keeping myself well hydrated from the inside and out, I’m currently nerding in on Clarins. I warmly recommend this book; Jaques Courtin – A beautiful Success: The Fabulous Adventures of Clarins. It never cease to amaze me how modest but well educated entrepreneurs creates an empire that have lasted for generations. Clarins have a place in my heart. The story and philosophy behind the brand is engaging.
That is all educational content for this morning folks! I hope it will bring you some pleasure to dig a little deeper behind both the science and the companies that we all support with our purchases? ♥
