This year marks the 25-years Anniversary of the global Estee Lauder Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. The Pink Ribbon initiative was initially taken by Evelyn H. Lauder and has spread awareness as well as funded numerous research projects through out the years. I have always felt a little bit cautious to promote it – not because I don’t support the cause, obviously I do and I’m proud to be a part of the campaign – but because for the last five years or so, Pink October and Breast Cancer has been given so much publicity and money while other types of cancer is still kept in the dark.
This year I lost one of my closest friends to Leukaemia and with that, I feel even more determined to fight for not only research funding but also the importance of awareness and prevention. A lot can be done if cancer is discovered at an early stage; listening to your body, perform self-examinations and of course visit your physician for yearly check ups is crucial and it saves lives!
Estee Lauder Co. goes all out and releases a yearly limited edition collection of some of their brand’s most beloved products, all dressed up in pink. This to raise money to continue to fund the research around breast cancer. I always make sure to pick up an item or two, beauty shall be charitable! We, the consumers, have a strong voice and a lot of money to contribute with.
For 2017 I fell head over heels for the oh so gorgeous Advanced Night Repair -Synchronized Recovery Complex II (simply referred to as ANR in beauty circles). Dressed in the most vibrant and eye-catching chocking pink packaging and accessorised with a little charm, it is the most beautiful bottle to have in your collection. But more importantly: this is a cult classic product for all the right reasons! I use it for everything and it constantly saves my skin.
To read more about the impressive ingredients and what they’ll do for you, follow the link to my previous article meeting Mr. Takis Mavrigiannakis, International MUA for Estee Lauder Co. Let’s just all agree that some Tripeptide-32 and Bifida Ferment Lysate sounds like a pretty good deal…for a good cause! ♥
The bottle looks absolutely gorgeous. I have one regular one which I still have to start using. Besides this is for such a good cause. 🙂

Yes, as soon as I saw the bottle I knew it would be a bestseller. The EL Co produces Pink awareness collections every year – I’m sure that next collection will be equally stunning and important.
