The Body Shop Skincare

The Body Shop • Sneak Peek • Skincare Collection •

The issue with starting up a site from scratch, but having accumulated skincare and makeup for about a hundred years or so, is that you want to show it all, recommend, write reviews and do interviews. All at the same time!

The reality is, that a month only got a certain number of days, and even if I would publish an article once every day, it still would take time to show you what I use and like.

Like most skincare fanatics, I usually buy a semi-full range of a certain line (once I see that the ingredients agrees with me) but I rarely use them together. My skincare routine(s) will very soon have it’s own article, but for now I’m telling you that I like to mix and match in order to achieve the best result for my skin.

This is a sneak peak of what’s currently on rotation from The Body Shop. High End skincare for me is about the label, the brand, the packaging and the price point, BUT most of all about the science and ingredients inside the bottles and tubes. I’m learning new things on a daily basis but one thing is for sure: TBS might be a Mid-range brand if you look at the price tag, but it is for sure High End if you seek great ingredients!

Displayed are parts of:

• The Vitamin C range • The Vitamin E range • The Tea Tree Oil range • The Oils of Life range • The Camomile range •

Not animal tested, Community Fair trade, all about saving the planets resources and advocate human rights. It’s a pretty good deal if you ask me…

Basically what I could fit in! Bare with me, and I will make sure to give you a close up on each and every one.

And some Trivia, just for the fun of it! This is how it all started. I must have been 10 or 12. Back then, you could buy these little bath oils capsules, in the shape of starfishes, ducks, whales and what have you. They where incredibly inexpensive which meant Mom let us pick and choose a hand full for out night time bath tube routine. Classic! Do you remember these? ♥

  1. Thank you for the reminder about the bath oil capsules, I had forgotten them but I also loved them. I love TBSs products, I’m looking forward to test the Oils of Life.

    1. Dear Katrina! Yes I got quite nostalgic when I searched for pictures of the oil capsules. I’m not sure you can find these anymore? I also love TBS and feel that they are just on fire right now: the range just keeps on getting better and better. It is fun to watch =)
